Summary:
As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role within Painters USA by delivering comprehensive services for client projects.
This includes project estimating and bidding, project startup, project management, risk management, customer and field team interaction, change order management, and project financial analysis.
You will oversee approximately 15 crews and 35-40 team members, responsible for approximately 40% of the company's current business.
Job Purpose:
The Project Manager role will be to add value to the organization by ensuring accurate bidding, timely and budget-compliant project completion, and providing the highest level of project management and service to clients.
You will determine the necessary resources, such as labor, equipment, safety measures, and quality requirements, to successfully execute projects in line with specifications.
Job Description:
Project Manager Implement company policies and procedures to ensure projects adhere to approved standards, are completed on time, and stay within the approved budget.
Scope of Decisions:
Focus on the quantity and quality of work.
Supervise and coordinate assigned jobs within the Production Department, promoting safe working practices and mitigating potential liability issues.
Continuously seek improved methods to enhance work effectiveness and efficiency.
Tools Used:
Schedules, checklists, meetings, huddles, estimating software, and project management software.
Constant communication through direct contact with customers and field personnel (specifically SmartSheet, Excel, Procore).
Experience Needed:
5-7 years of Project Manager experience, including some within the Construction Industry, managing multiple small and medium-sized projects simultaneously, with expertise in logistics and financial acumen (projects totaling $15 - $18MM).
Strong leadership and management experience with a proactive personality focused on delivering work right the first time, within or below budget.
Coaching and mentoring experience, with the willingness and ability to provide feedback until project specifications are met.
