To champion these efforts, we are seeking a passionate HR Assistant who understands the core of company culture and values strong employee relationships.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Employee Records Management:
Maintain and update employee records ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Organize and manage both digital and physical employee files to ensure ease of access and retrieval.
Timely Assessments Monitoring:
Coordinate with supervisors and managers to ensure timely completion of employee performance assessments.
Send reminders about upcoming assessment deadlines and follow up with any overdue evaluations.
Compile assessment data for analysis and reporting, highlighting trends and areas of opportunity.
Employee Relations:
Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, directing them to appropriate resources or departments when necessary.
Assist in developing programs and initiatives that foster positive employee relations and a strong company culture.
Collaborate with the HR team in conducting surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one interviews to gauge employee satisfaction and feedback.
HR Operations & Support:
Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads, coordinating interviews, and employee onboarding and orientation.
Collaborate in the planning and execution of internal events, training sessions, and workshops to enhance company culture and professional growth.
Support the benefits administration process, addressing any employee inquiries related to benefits and liaising with providers when necessary.
Assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, ensuring accurate and timely processing, and distributing checks.
Employee Onboarding:
Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring they understand and are integrated into the company culture.
Coordinate with department leads to set up initial training sessions and familiarization programs.
Requirements:
Qualifications:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in human resource information system (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Reliable transportation is a MUST; The position requires going between 2 locations:
Chicago and Glendale Heights.
Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma required.
Associates degree or higher is beneficial.
No prior HR related experience required, but intention to learn and grow is required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be comfortable around fresh spice smells.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
