We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Technical Sales Engineer to join our thriving Manufacturing team.
This role is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and resourceful individual who has a love for problem-solving, a passion for technology, and a drive for customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our advanced manufacturing solutions.
This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working on a team, and is committed to exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Present company services and solutions to potential clients while maintaining existing client relationships.
Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product specifications and provide solutions that meet customer requirements.
Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery.
Plan and modify products to meet customer needs.
Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production.
Help in researching and developing new products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, specifically with experience in turbine engine manufacturing.
Proven track record in technical sales.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to explain them to non-technical stakeholders.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for thinking on your feet.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Demonstrated proficiency in time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and prospects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Strong business development skills, with a proven track record of closing deals.
Familiarity with industry standards and developing market trends.
Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach.
